PART-TIME & FULL-TIME POSITIONS AVAILABLE NOW.
FLEXIBLE SCHEDULING — WEEKENDS and WEEKDAYS.
LOCAL and MEDIUM LONG DISTANCE. (IE. Vancouver Island, Interior, Sunshine Coast, Whistler etc.)
DRIVER / TEAM LEADS
Description of Duties:
Safely operate a 1-ton cube van but experience with 3-ton and 5-ton trucks is definite asset.
Provide high-level customer service while overcoming any job-related concerns onsite.
Safely handling and wrapping a variety of goods for transport
Efficiently loading and unloading a truck. (“Big Picture” Planning + Tetris skills!)
Effectively (and respectively) managing your team of 1-5 members.
Excel in a position of independence and responsibility
Able to work long hours from time to time. (Especially at the end of the month)
Comfortable with the use of smartphones and iPads for job details and navigation. (Full training)
Ensure all moving equipment is accounted for and in good working order before and after the job.
Job Requirements:
Two years’ experience moving, driving and managing small teams.
Have valid full class 5 license (no air brakes needed)
Hard working, punctual, honest and reliable.
A healthy and presentable appearance.
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Act in a professional manner.
Smartphone w/ data plan (most of the data you will use is available on the iPad)
Clear criminal record and acceptable drivers abstract.
The physical fitness and conditioning to perform this sort of work on a regular basis.
Compensation competitive. $22.00 – 25.00 (based on experience) + TIPS and PERFORMANCE INCENTIVES TBD.
JR. MOVERS
Description of Duties:
Provide positive and energetic moving support as part of a 2 – 6-man team.
Safely and efficiently use moving equipment and supplies to get the job done right.
Provide high-level customer service.
Disassemble and reassemble furniture as needed.
Job Requirements:
Minimum of 1-year moving experience, in this industry or one that one that is very closely related.
Hard working, punctual, honest and reliable.
Healthy and presentable appearance.
Act in a professional manner.
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Clear criminal record check.
Working cell phone, with text messaging.
Willingness to accept helpful instruction.
Able to work long hours from time to time.
The physical fitness and conditioning to perform this sort of work on a regular basis.
Ability to get along with others and do what’s needed to get the job done right.
Compensation competitive. $18.00 – 20.00 (based on experience) + TIPS and PERFORMANCE INCENTIVES TBD
